Avin is a Mechanical Engineer (B.E.) with an MBA in Business Analytics, possessing over 15 years of experience in engineering, with 12 years dedicated exclusively to Additive Manufacturing. Throughout his career, he has worked with leading companies in 3D Printing and 3D Scanning, including Stratasys, Markforged, BigRep, CEAD, Formlabs, Creaform 3D, and Shining 3D. With a strong technical background, he has expertise in machine handling, installation, operations, training, and commissioning of advanced additive manufacturing systems. His experience spans various 3D printing technologies, including FDM, SLA, SLS, SLM, and large-scale pellet extrusion. Currently, he serves as the 3D Printing Superintendent at Al Seer Marine, where he leads a team of dedicated engineers in large-scale robotic 3D printing. His role involves overseeing the entire process, from business development and conceptual discussions to execution and final implementation. He is passionate about driving innovation in large-scale additive manufacturing and leveraging his expertise to advance industrial applications in marine, aerospace, and other sectors.
