Dr. Sastry Yagnanna Kandukuri is a Senior Principal Specialist and Global Practice Lead for Additive Manufacturing at DNV, Norway. He has more than 25 years of international experience in materials engineering, manufacturing technologies, qualification, certification, and technical assurance across the energy, maritime, oil and gas, and manufacturing sectors. A globally recognized expert in additive manufacturing, he led the establishment of DNV’s Additive Manufacturing Centre of Excellence in Singapore and has played a key role in developing qualification and certification frameworks, standards, and recommended practices for industrial adoption of AM technologies. He is the lead author and contributor to several industry guidelines and standards, including DNV-ST-B203 for additive manufacturing. Dr. Kandukuri has led numerous Joint Industry Projects (JIPs) and innovation initiatives involving major operators, OEMs, manufacturers, research institutes, and government agencies. He is an active speaker at international conferences, author of numerous technical publications, and advisor to various industry and academic initiatives focused on advancing additive manufacturing and digital manufacturing technologies.
