Ila Colombo is an award-winning artist, AI collaborator, and creative director with over a decade of experience across avant-garde Design, Art, Architecture, and Technology. Her work spans spatial computing, 3D printing, design-art installations, and conceptual exploration, with a focus on sustainable, algorithmic, and biomorphic design. She has led projects with Ross Lovegrove Studio, offering design strategy, AI iterations, and direction for global exhibitions and innovation-driven objects. Ila’s current research explores the philosophical and practical impacts of generative AI, hybrid workflows, and the ethics of creative machine collaboration. She is the co-founder of DEOND, a Dubai-based multidisciplinary AI, R&D and 3DPA studio merging human creativity with advanced computation. A member of RIBA and the Architecture Program Advisory Board at AUD, Ila recently contributed to the Dubai Future Foundation’s report on ‘AI for Creative Industries.’
